We finished installing another two servers today, approximately increasing capacity of the system by 4x. The “too busy” pages should be a thing of the past. You can’t see it, but we did a system re-design to allow it to easily scale.
On to the next bottleneck 
still see tons of hourglasses

hi scotto,
that’s because at the same time we doubled the # of videos in the search engine. we don’t pre-transcode, so give it a couple of days and you’ll see many of the hourglasses disappear for the popular queries.
